Boilerplate

The Centre Line is an independent, verified review platform for hockey tournaments, leagues, and clubs across Canada, the USA, and Europe. Operated by Train 2.0 Hockey Coaching Inc. in Vancouver, BC. Every reviewer is email-verified and answers structured questions across seven anchored dimensions: Organization, Development, Playing-time fairness, Cost vs. value, Culture & sportsmanship, Pathway, and Parent & family scene. Aggregate scores are suppressed until at least 5 verified reviews are on file. We do not accept payment for placement or scoring weight.

What the platform is, and what it isn't

What it is: a structured accountability layer for program-level decisions: communication, expectations, and experience. Programs get scored on the systems they run; the data is there so families investing time and money in hockey can make better decisions about where to spend.

What it isn't: a vehicle for calling out specific coaches, board members, or other individuals. Reviews that read as personal attacks are moderated out. The mirror image is equally on-purpose. We want to surface and recognise the contributors who make local hockey work, not just the programs that need to do better.

What we won't do

  • Share individual reviewer identities or contact info
  • Comment on litigation involving any listed program
  • Endorse specific programs, advisors, scouts, or tournaments

We don't have a public API yet. Aggregated, de-identified data is available on request for academic, journalism, or non-commercial research use. Contact us with a brief description of the project.
